She is versatile and ambitious in her design process, working across a range of distinctive styles from the formal to the naturalistic, from the bold and exciting to the tranquil and calming. Her work is grounded in both her profound enthusiasm for and knowledge of plants and her practical expertise in other garden aspects, such as water features, irrigation and lighting. She is also deeply focused on sustainability and aims to reflect this in her designs.

Jane trained at the prestigious KLC design school based at Hampton Court, where she was awarded a diploma in garden design with distinction. She studied horticulture at Capel Manor College, where she took the Royal Horticultural Society diploma in principles and practices of horticulture and was awarded a commendation. She has also studied landscape construction at the London College of Garden Design, obtaining the construction design certificate.

She creates her designs using Vectorworks computer-aided design software, producing 2D plans and 3D visualisations that provide both clients and landscapers with a full understanding of her visions.

She has often been quoted in the gardening media for her knowledge and expertise in horticulture and creating imaginative but practical garden environments.
